Meet the trainer 🐾

Hi! I’m Nathan, the owner and trainer at Pawsitive Possibilities. I am so glad you’re here!

As a veteran pet caregiver and highly skilled dog trainer with over 18 years of experience, my passion for animals and wildlife began at a young age when I volunteered at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was there that I interpreted animal stories and worked passionately to instill animal stewardship in the aquarium guests.

In 2021, I adopted my soul dog, Cooper, a rescue mutt from Hawaii, who inspired me to pursue a career as a dog trainer.

After qualifying for a scholarship, Cooper and I graduated from the prestigious Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Professional Program, a science-backed, positive reinforcement academy, in September 2022. Upon graduation, I accepted a training position at PetSmart, where I taught classes in a group setting to gain more hands-on experience. I have since decided to take the leap and start my own positive reinforcement dog training and care service – Pawsitive Possibilities.

I currently reside and service the areas in and around Anne Arundel County, Maryland. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur family member(s) and help you reach your goals of making pet ownership less stressful and more enjoyable!
